Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that Brad Pitt threatened to kill Harvey Weinstein for sexually harassing her.

The 45-year-old, who dated Brad for three years until 1997, was one of the many actresses that the disgraced producer harassed.

After Gwyneth signed on to star in ‘Emma’ and ‘Shakespeare in Love’ in 1995, which Weinstein produced, the movie mogul tried to lure her into his hotel room and asked for a massage.

The actress confided in her then-boyfriend Brad Pitt, and the actor approached Harvey on the opening night of a Broadway production of ‘Hamlet’.

Speaking to Howard Stern, Gwyneth recalled, “He told me exactly what he said. He said, ‘If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you.'”

“It was the equivalent of throwing him against the wall, energetically. He leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet … he’s the best. I love him for this.”

The mother-of-two was left “shaken” by the incident, and admitted that she was initially hesitant to tell her story when she was approached by journalists.

But she continued, “Now, it seems like a no-brainer, but at the time, the floodgates hadn’t opened, and not only did the story break, but it changed the culture completely.”

Gwyneth, who is engaged to producer Brad Falchuk, has children Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, with ex-husband Chris Martin.

Multiple women have accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct since he was first exposed late last year, but the film producer has denied all allegations of non-consensual sex.
