Lamar Odom was involved in a verbal altercation when leaving a restaurant with his friends.
The incident took place in a Hooters restaurant in Queens, in New York.
As his group was exiting the food outlet a man from the group arguing with Lamar pulled out a gun and fired several shots in the air, before fleeing the scene.
TMZ report that Khloe Kardashian’s ex is cooperating with police and is not accused of any wrongdoing.
Saam Zangeneh, the NBA star’s attorney told TMZ, “Lamar did nothing wrong and was not arrested.”
“He’s a law abiding citizen and he did his best to answer all the questions the police had for him.”
