Friends of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have revealed the real reason that the couple have split.
Miley and Liam announced that they are going their separate ways after 8 months of marriage, and 10 years of being together.
“This split isn’t shocking to people who are actually with them every day,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE.
“After they reunited, everyone thought they were this “perfect” couple, but they still had a lot of issues.”
“They’re not on the same page when it comes to a lot of fundamental things that make a relationship work,” they continued.
“It’s not surprising at all.”
Fans speculated that the couple split due to disagreements regarding starting a family.
According to OK! Australia, a source told the publication in July 2018 that Liam was keen to embark on parenthood soon, while Miley was not ready.
“”He wants kids and doesn’t want to keep putting it off but it’s not quite the timeline Miley had in mind … he is left heartbroken,” a source said at the time.
