Every year the Razzies gives awards to the year’s WORST movies and actors, two days before the Oscars honour the best in the industry.
And at the 2017 Razzie Awards ceremony there were two movies that unfortunately won big – Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party.
Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill took home the prize for Worst Screen Combo for their superhero epic, and the film also won Worst Supporting Actor (for Jesse Eisenberg), Worst Screenplay and Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel.
The worst films of the year?: Hillary’s America and Batman v Superman were the big winners at the 2017 Razzie Awards
But it was Hillary’s America that was named Worst Picture, and additionally won Worst Actor, Worst Actress and Worst Director.
Dinesh D’Souza, who starred in and directed the documentary, was a good sport about it all, and accepted his trophy via a satellite feed.
