Eva Longoria and her husband Jose Bastón are expecting their first child together.
The actress’ rep confirmed to E! News that she’s expecting a baby boy, and reports suggest that Eva is about four months along.
The happy news comes just a year and a half after Eva and Jose tied the knot.
This will be Eva’s first baby, but it will be the fourth for Jose, who is already father to José, Tali and Mariana, his children with ex-wife Natalia Esperón.
The 42-year-old actress, who is stepmother to Jose’s three children, has been open about wanting children of her own.
“If it happens, it happens, if it’s meant to be it would be a blessing,” she previously told Ocean Drive magazine.
Eva has been surrounded by pregnancy rumours ever since she married Jose in 2016.
Back in April, she was forced to deny that she was pregnant, telling her followers, “So, I saw some pictures of myself. Really fat, on a boat. I have to tell you all I did was eat cheese. I ate cheese!”
Alongside an pictures of herself in a bikini, she continued, “Everybody’s saying I’m pregnant and I’m not. I was just lactose intolerant apparently.”
“Today no belly… I just had to share, because my whole family’s calling me, asking me if I’m pregnant. Yes, I looked pregnant. But that was just a ball of cheese. Ball of cheese in my stomach.”
