Elizabeth Banks has confirmed that her Charlie’s Angels reboot has wrapped filming.
The director of the film shared the news on Instagram with a pic of her and her ‘angels’ alongside the caption: “That’s a wrap. So much love and gratitude to these Angels.”
The new ‘Angels’ are Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska – with Elizabeth also starring as the reboot’s Bosley.
Elizabeth and Jay Basu wrote the script, which is a ‘revamp’ of the popular 2000 film.
In a statement, the director said: “Charlie’s Angels, for me, is one of the original brands to celebrate the empowered woman since its debut in the ’70s.”
“This film honors the legacy of Charles Townsend and his agency while introducing a new era of modern, and global Angels.”
‘Charlies Angels’ is set to be released on November 1, 2019.
