Drake has finally announced the release date for his new album.
The name of the new body of work is ‘Scorpion’ and will be released on the 29th of June, according to a post on the rapper’s Instagram account.
Drake also revealed the album artwork in the post. The picture shows a close-up shot of the 31-year-olds face in black and white. The Canadian native captioned the post simply typing, “Scorpion 2018.”
Scorpion will be Drakes Fifth studio album.
He has already released a few tracks from the album including ‘God’s Plan’, ‘Nice for What’, and most recently, ‘I’m Upset’. A new music video which shows Drake reunite with his Degrassi castmates has just been dropped for ‘I’m Upset’.
Degrassi was a Canadian Teen Drama that Drake was apart of before staring his music career. The show also starred Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev.
The ‘Hotline Bling’ rapper teased the reunion when he announced the release of the video on his Instagram. The photo shows a signpost for the Degrassi school, and is captioned “VIDEO LINK IN BIO”.
We’re keeping our ears wide open for anymore diss tracks. Drake’s been royally roasted by Pusha T recently who revealed that he’s fathering a child with a former porn star.
