Drake and Younes Bendjima are being sued for an alleged nightclub attack.
Four months ago footage from March emerged which reportedly showed Younes involved in an attack of nightclub employee, Bennett Sipes who was not working on the night, while Drake was also visible in the video.
According to TMZ an argument broke out when Bennett approached his girlfriend, who was reportedly chatting to the celebs, as well as American football player, Odell Beckham Jr.
The online publication has now reported that the rapper, sportsman and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex are being sued by the employee, after his lawyer claimed that they “gave the defendant’s months to settle this claim without litigation.”
“But when they failed to be accountable for their actions, we were left with no choice but to file suit to seek justice for our client,” the lawyer continued.
In documents obtained by TMZ, Bennett claimed that he saw Drake giving a “throat slash” hand gesture which he understood to be “some type of physical threat towards himself.”
The defendant is reportedly seeking repayments of all damages, including wages loss, hospital and medical bills, as well as payment for his attorney.
