Disney have moved up the release date for Maleficent’s sequel by seven months.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil was originally set for release on May 29, 2020 – but is now being released on October 18, 2019.
The film, which stars Angelina Jolie, is a live-action retelling of Sleeping Beauty.

The 2014 live-action film made more than four times the figure that was invested – grossing an impressive $758.5 million overall worldwide.
Elle Fanning, who starred as Princess Aurora, is returning for the sequel, and Michelle Pfeiffer has also joined the cast as Queen Ingris
Other newcomers include Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ed Skrein, and Jenn Murray.
