Demi Moore has revealed she was raped at her home when she was just 15-years-old.
The actress has claimed that her late mother put her in “harm’s way” during an interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, while she was discussing her new memoir ‘Inside Out’.
In the book, Demi writes about being raped by an older man when she was just a teenager, after her mother allegedly gave him a key to their apartment.
The man allegedly told Demi that her mother had sold her to him for $500.
In her memoir, Demi wrote:Â “It was rape. And a devastating betrayal.”
Speaking to Diane Sawyer about that part of her book, Demi was asked if she truly believed her mother “sold” her.
Demi replied: “I think, in my deep heart no. I don’t think it was a straightforward transaction. But she still – she did give him the access and put me in harm’s way.”
