Demi Lovato’s overdose allegedly caused by drugs laced with fentanyl

The singer was rushed to hospital following an overdose last month

Demi Lovato allegedly overdosed on a bad batch of Oxycodone, which was laced with fentanyl.

The 25-year-old was rushed to hospital on July 24 after she was found unresponsive in her bed, and now sources have revealed what caused her to OD.

Insiders have told TMZ that Demi contacted a drug dealer to come to her house at around 4am on July 24, following a birthday celebration at Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip.

After coming to her house, the source has alleged that they both freebased Oxycodone on tin foil.

However, the drug dealer’s stash was reportedly laced with fentanyl – the same drug that caused the death of Prince and Lil Peep.

The insider added that the dealer, who Demi’s been in contact with since April, fled her home when he noticed she was breathing heavily in bed.

The 25-year-old is currently in rehab following the overdose, and is set to undergo treatment for several months.
