Demi Lovato’s drug dealer will NOT face investigation despite near fatal overdose

Demi Lovato’s drug dealer will not face investigation – despite supplying the singer with the “after market pills” that landed her in hospital.

Last month Brandon Johnson admitted to supplying the 26-year-old with non-prescription drugs before she suffered an overdose.

Speaking to TMZ Brandon said: “They’re after market pills and they’re much stronger. She understood fully and it’s unfortunate what happened.

“But for any one to think there was any misconception on my behalf is absolutely ridiculous. I’m not here to hurt anybody. I care for her very much, she means a lot to me.”

Johnson however denies knowing whether or not the pills were laced with any other substances however previous reports suggest it was Oxycodone laced with fentanyl.

Police sources told TMZ that an overdose is categorised as a medical emergency and so Brandon and will not be investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department.

“When I was with her she was fine,”  he added.

“When I showed up she was a little drunk, but nothing out of the ordinary. When I left she’d fallen sleep. She’d passed out, but it was already 7am or 8am. I tucked her in.”

For the most part the singer has stayed quiet since the incident apart from a brief I Instagram post where she thanked her fans for their constant support.

“I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery,” she said.

“The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side”.
