Demi Lovato has unfollowed Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas and Iggy Azalea on Instagram.

Fans noticed that the 26-year-old unfollowed some of her former close celeb friends, as she returns to social media following her near-fatal overdose in July.

One of these friends, included her childhood pal, Selena Gomez, who she was on good terms with before her relapse.

When the Disney star appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October, the presenter asked about Demi’s overdose, but Selena respected her privacy and said: “I reached out to her personally. I didn’t do a public thing. I didn’t want to. I… I love her. I’ve known her since I was seven.”

Demi has also unfollowed her business partner and long-term friend, Nick Jonas, on Insta.

The pair work together with Safehouse Records and have even gone on tour together in the past.

While the 26-year-old was in a critical condition, Nick expressed his concern and love for her, when he tweeted: “Like all of you I am reeling at the news about Demi. All of us love her and need to pray for her to get well. She is a fighter. #prayfordemi.”

The third noticeable celeb the singer unfollowed was Iggy Azalea, who she was evidently very close to, as she was meant to be the rapper’s bridesmaid.

However this unfollowing may be a result of Iggy’s interview with Entertainment Tonight, where she admitted she knew about Demi’s relapse before the singer overdosed: “I had known about it, as a close friend. So I had really wanted for her to be the one to tell people that.”

“And I worried a lot, as her friend, that something was going to leak or somebody would somehow take that and use it negatively against her, or to make her seem like she’s got a secret.”

Demi recently hit back at a fan who tried to criticise her for reportedly firing a backup dancer, who released a statement regarding the singer’s overdose during the summer.
