Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, has supported the footballer after rape allegations come to light.
The former Manchester United star has been accused of raping a a woman in 2009 while in a Las Vegas hotel.
34-year-old, Kathryn Mayorga, claimed that she was raped by the footballer after she screamed “no” several times.
According to CNN, Kathryn has claimed that the footballer originally paid her $375,000 in exchange for her silence, but she now wants to press charges against him.
Cristiano has denied the claims made against him, as he called it “fake news” and said on an Instagram live: “They want to promote [themselves] by [using] my name. It’s normal.”
His girlfriend has now made it clear that she is standing by the celeb.
The model shared an image of herself on Instagram, alongside the caption: “You always transform the obstacles that are put in your way into impulse and strength to show how great you are.”
“Thank you for making us enjoy each game. Always more and better. I love you @cristiano,” she wrote.
The couple have been dating for two years and have one child together.
