Chrissy Teigen fears she will suffer from postpartum depression again

Chrissy Teigen has revealed that she is nervous about suffering with Postpartum depression again.

The usually quick witted presenter got serious when she sat down with celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin at the Create & Cultivate Conference in Los Angeles on Saturday.

She discussed the worry during a Q&A.

When asked if she was worried if PPD would return with the birth of her son Chrissy confirmed that she it was a concern of hers.

“Do I worry about it with this little boy? I do.”

“But I also know that when it does happen if it does I’m so ready for it.”

“I have the perfect people around me for it. That’s why I stand for a real core group of people around me.”

Chrissy also spoke about how PPD affected her with her born daughter Luna, sharing “I had just had Luna. I knew I had an incredible life and husband and family and all the resources necessary”.

“I knew that I was personally unhappy, but I didn’t think that anything was wrong with it because I just assumed that that’s the way it goes.”

“You have a kid, you’re sad, you lose those endorphins and that’s the way it is”.

While Chrissy admits to having a great support network around her, she did add that she wished she had more support.

“I do wish that more people had spoken up around me.”

“I encourage anyone who sees something around them to point it out.”

“I think it’s hard for people to point something out.”

Chrissy announced her pregnancy in November with a sweet video of her daughter Luna who she shares with John legend rubbing her belly and whispering “baby”.

The sex of their baby was also revealed by Teigen via her Instagram page when she attended the Grammy’s.
