Chris Brown to file defamation lawsuit against accuser after being released without charge following rape claim

Chris Brown is set to file a defamation lawsuit against a woman who accused him of rape, after he was released without charge in Paris late last night.

The singer was detained yesterday after a woman claimed she was raped by him on the 15th January, at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Paris.

While an investigation into the alleged incident is continuing, the 29-year-old has been released without charge and took to Instagram to deny the claims made against him.

“I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP! NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!” he wrote alongside an image which said “This b***h lyin’.”

According to TMZ Chris wants to file a defamation lawsuit against the woman who made the accusations, as his lawyer, Raphael Chiche, told the publication: “Chris Brown is free. No lawsuits were filed against him.”

“He vigorously challenges the charges against him. A complaint for slanderous denunciation will be filed tomorrow with the public prosecutor of Paris.”

The father-of-one has continued to post screenshots of articles stating that he was released without charge on his Instagram and also shared a video of him dancing in a studio with the caption: “We Working.”
