Channing Tatum has lovingly wished his ex-wife Jenna Dewan a happy Mother’s Day following their break up.
The former couple, who are parents to their four-year-old daughter Everly, devastated fans by announcing their split back in April after nearly nine years of marriage.Â
However, the pair appear to be on good terms as the 38-year-old actor wished Jenna a happy Mother’s Day on Sunday, and even called her “baby”.
In a video posted on his Instagram story, Channing said, “Happy Mother’s Day everybody. Jenna, Happy Mother’s Day, baby.”
“Momma, Happy Mother’s Day. Love you guys,” he added.
Channing’s touching shoutout comes amid reports that the actor has been struggling with their breakup.
A source told PEOPLE, “He always had Jenna and their family to go home to, so having their separation be ‘official’ now has been a big adjustment for him.”
Meanwhile, Jenna spent Mother’s Day with Everly in the dance studio.
Taking to Instagram, the actress wrote, “Thank you Everly for choosing me as your mother.”
“I will love, cherish, and support you til the end of time. You teach me every single day and I am continually in awe of your strength and your wisdom. Love you bigger than the sky and all the stars.”
