Catt Sadler has appeared on The View for her first TV interview since she left the Entertainment network E! last year over a pay dispute.

Catt explained, “It has been a wild last two months, I was at E! for twelve years it was my dream job.

Catt went on to reveal that an executive producer approached her and told her “just so you know, you are being severely underpaid.”

With that information, Catt revealed that she wanted to “use that as power for negotiations that would be coming up”.

“I had high hopes and that she thought the right thing would be done, I just feel so strong in my conviction that what was happening was an injustice, and that’s why I felt very compelled to fight for what was right at the time.”

The former Daily Pop anchor also revealed she has a new gig lined up.

“I’ve got some things in the works from a development standpoint. But I do have a job at the Oscars. I’m returning to the red carpet for the Vanity Fair’s Oscars party.”

Last year, Catt left E! after discovering that her co-host Jason Kennedy was on twice her pay.

Celebrities flocked to Catt’s defence at the Golden Globes, including Debra Messing and Eva Longoria, who called out the network for not paying Catt an equal amount to Jason Kennedy.
