Cardi B shares video of her finding out about Grammy nominations in COURT

What a way to find out!

Cardi B has shared a video of her finding out about her Grammy nominations in court.

On Friday, the rapper received noms for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album for Invasion of Privacy, Record of the Year for her hit single ‘I Like It’, Best Rap Performance for ‘Be Careful’, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Girls Like You’ with Maroon 5.

While the nominations were being announced, Cardi was at a courthouse in Queens, New York – for her case regarding that alleged strip club fight.

While she was there, Cardi was told by the press that she had been nominated for five Grammys, and she’s since shared a video of the moment on social media.

She captioned the post: “What a way to find out I got 5 Grammy nominations,” before adding, “I’m telling you my life is a movie. I work my ass off for this! Win or not at least I know I had a chance and people was watching and admiring my work. I’m soo happy! THANK YOU!” [sic]

This isn’t Cardi’s first Grammy nom – last year she was nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song following the success of ‘Bodak Yellow’.

However, the rap superstar is yet to take one of the gongs home with her.
