Cardi B has pulled out of Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic Tour.
It comes after she also had to cancel her performance at Longitude, as she gave birth mere days before she was set to take to the stage in Dublin’s Marlay Park.
The singer gave birth to a baby girl earlier this month and released a statement on Instagram last night telling fans that she will no longer be taking part in the tour.
“I underestimated the whole mommy thing,” the 25-year-old wrote in the statement.
Cardi B was supposed to be joining Bruno Mars on the final leg of his tour throughout North America in September.
The rapper has stated that she is not ready “mentally and physically” and was hoping to be able to bring her daughter on tour, but that it would not be possible.
Bruno Mars has also released a statement on Instagram saying that Cardi’s health is the most important thing for the singer.
Cardi announced the birth of her daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, on Instagram on 11th July.
It is her first child with her fiancé Offset who has since been arrested.
She believes he is being targeted by the police.
