Cardi B pleads not guilty to assault claims over strip club bust-up

Cardi B has pleaded not guilty to charges of assault.

The plea comes following an alleged fight at a New York strip club last year.

The rapper, along with members of her entourage, have been charged with 12 crimes including assault and harassment.

The mother-of-one was accused of ordering an attack on two bartenders, sisters Jade and Baddie Gi.

Acting District Attorney John Ryan told The Daily Mail: “The defendants in this case are accused of two premeditated attacks on two women working at a club in Queens last summer.”

“The victims allegedly had glass bottles hurled at them, alcoholic drinks thrown in their faces and one woman’s head was slammed into the bar.”

“This kind of violence won’t be tolerated in our community. The defendants will be held accountable for their alleged actions.”

It was claimed that the incident was triggered after a rumour emerged that one of the alleged victims were involved in an affair with Cardi’s husband Offset.

Cardi turned herself in to police last October to address the claims.
