Cardi B has joked about her public spat with Nicki Minaj, one week after the pair came face-to-face at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party during New York Fashion Week.
The 25-year-old rapper shared a photo of a little girl dressed up in a look identical to Cardi’s during her infamous scrap with Nicki.
Nicki captioned the post, “Sooooooo buteeeeee ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” but added, “She forgot the knot ????????????????????.”
Cardi is referring to the massive bump on her head, which was visible when Cardi was papped leaving the Harper’s Bazaar party last week.
Cardi and Nicki’s public fight went viral when videos of the pair’s confrontation were posted online.
In the videos, Cardi can be seen charging at Nicki as she screamed, “say some s**t about my daughter again” – referring to her 9-week-old daughter Kulture, who she has with her husband Offset.
In another clip, the new mum appeared to throw her own shoe at Nicki.
Shortly after leaving the party, Cardi addressed the incident on Instagram in statement.
She wrote: “I’ve let a lot of s*** slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f*** up the way I eat! You’ve [threatened] other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop f***ing with them!!!”
“But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f***ing off!!”
However, Nicki has since denied speaking about Cardi’s daughter.
On her Queen radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Nicki said, “I just want people to know that Onika Tanya Maraj has never, will never… speak ill on anyone’s child. I am not a clown. That’s clown s***.”
