Caitlyn Jenner’s son Brandon Jenner has responded to fans queries as to why none of Caitlyn’s family came to greet her after she was voted off I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.
Social media exploded with sympathy for Caitlyn, after no one was there for her following her exit.
Brandon, aged 38, was DM’d by a fan who asked:
“Why wasn’t you at the bridge? So sad seeing your dad upset.”
In a screenshot obtained by the Mirror Online, Brandon appears to have replied:
“Honestly, nobody reached out to set it up.”
“I think it might have been a ‘storyline’ the producers wanted to fabricate in order to get more empathy for Caitlyn,” he reportedly wrote.
“That’s how that kind of TV works,” he finished, completing the message with a smirk emoji.
Caitlyn has since been reunited with partner Sophia Hutchins who flew to Australia to surprise Caitlyn.
