Caitlyn Jenner has revealed that she went to extraordinary lengths to keep her transition a secret, before she came out as a transgender woman.
The 70-year-old, formerly known as Bruce, famously revealed her new identity on the cover of Vanity Fair back in June 2015.
But before then, the reality star was forced to build a six-foot wall around her home in Malibu, as she was terrified of being papped during her transition.
Speaking on last night’s I’m A Celeb, Caitlyn confessed: “I put up six-foot walls around the front of my house, this was before I came out, because I couldn’t even go out the front door because I was afraid somebody was gonna get a picture.”
The former Olympian then said:Â “The day Vanity Fair came out, the wall came down.”
Caitlyn has received a lot of praise during her stint in the jungle, and has been candid about her life and being part of the Kardashian-Jenner family.
However, the star ruffled a lot of feathers earlier this week when she said she hasn’t spoken to her former stepdaughter Khloé Kardashian in years.Â
Caitlyn said she didn’t understand what Khloé was so “p***ed off” about, but fans have since pointed out that their feud was over Caitlyn’s memoir.
Back in 2017, Caitlyn got into a public row with the Kardashians over comments she made about her ex-wife Kris Jenner in her book.
Although Caitlyn has since made up with Kardashian sisters Kim and Kourtney, Khloé has kept her distance from Caitlyn.
