Britney Spears granted permanent restraining order against former manager

Britney Spears has officially been granted a permanent five-year restraining order against her former manager, Sam Lutfi.

According to The Blast, Sam has been ordered to stay at least 200 yards away from the singer, her parents, and her two sons.

The news comes one month after Britney was granted a temporary restraining order against Sam “to prevent future harm and further psychological trauma.”

The Toxic singer sought a restraining order, after Sam allegedly “sent harassing and threatening texts and tweets” to her family, around the time #FreeBritney started trending online.

The hashtag started trending after fans grew concerned for Britney’s mental state, and started speculating about her stint in rehab.

According to court documents, “Lutfi began a new campaign of harassment against Ms. Spears and her family.”

Sam allegedly “made dozens of disparaging and threatening comments on social media and in interviews” and “leaked confidential information”.

In response to their claims, Sam has insisted that he hasn’t tried to contact Britney in years, and he denied being a part of the #Free Britney campaign.
