Barbra Streisand faces backlash for comments about Michael Jackson’s alleged victims

The singer spoke out about the Leaving Neverland documentary

Barbra Streisand is facing serious backlash, for comments she made about Michael Jackson’s alleged victims.

In an interview with The Times of London, the legendary singer was asked what she thought about the docu-film Leaving Neverland.

In the documentary, Wade Robson and James Safechuck allege that Michael sexually abused them as children.

The 76-year-old said she “absolutely” believes the alleged victims – but then said, “His sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever DNA he has.”

She continued, “You can say ‘molested,’ but those children, as you heard say [in the documentary], they were thrilled to be there. They both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them.”

When asked if she was angry with Michael, Barbra said, “It’s a combination of feelings. I feel bad for the children. I feel bad for him.”

“I blame, I guess, the parents, who would allow their children to sleep with him. Why would Michael need these little children dressed like him and in the shoes and the dancing and the hats?”

After Barbra’s comments were published, many took to Twitter to slam the singer.
