As Barack Obama and his family are gearing up to leave the White House for the final time on January 20, the 44th President of the United States posted a touching birthday message to his First Lady.
Yesterday, the 55-year-old took to Twitter to honour his wife Michelle on her birthday, and the sweet message seems to have touched many, as it has gained over 858k likes in less than 24 hours.
Posting a picture of the loved-up pair sitting on the back of a golf cart, Obama wrote, “To the girl from the South Side who took on a role she didn’t ask for and made it her own.”
“Happy Birthday, Michelle. I love you,” he added.
