Ayda Field has revealed that she still feels hurt after she lost out on a Big Bang Theory role to Kaley Cuoco.
Kaley plays the part of Penny in the popular sitcom, which is due to end next year.
Ayda has now revealed that she also auditioned for the role and is still upset about not securing it, as she saw how successful Kaley became.
“I tested against Kaley Cuoco for The Big Bang Theory. Not getting that hurts. And you read articles like, ‘highest-paid actress in television,'” she told The Mirror.
“I’ve had jobs taken away. You have to audition the day after. You’ve got to do it, but I can’t be funny. Or when I’d broken up with Rob. You’re testing for this comedy, [but think] ‘I can’t do it’,” she continued, after she revealed that her and Robbie split three times before they got married in 2010.
The actress is currently working with her husband, as they were both welcomed as new additions to the judging panel of The X Factor this season.
“I’m an undÂerÂÂdog. You just have to know you are capable of a lot more than you think,” the mother-of-three finished.
