Ariana Grande says she doesn’t ‘feel the need’ to label herself as fans question her sexuality

Ariana Grande said that she doesn’t “feel the need” to label herself, as fans have been questioning her sexuality.

The singer released her latest track, ‘Monopoly’ with Victoria Monét on Monday and sang about liking “women and men”.

Ari’s lyrics sparked interest amongst fans and many questioned the 25-year-old’s sexuality, which the singer doesn’t want to put a label on.

Ariana responded to a fan who tweeted: “ariana ain’t gotta label herself, but she said what she said.”

The former Nickelodeon star agreed with her fan and replied: “i haven’t before and still don’t feel the need to now ????????‍♀️which is okay”.

Victoria also responded to a fan who asked if Ariana was bisexual, as the singer/songwriter simply commented: “she said what she said”.

Many fans showed support for Ari’s choice not to label herself and one tweeted: “No need for “coming out” either. Lets just live our lives how we want without having to explain ourselves to anyone”.

“i’m so happy ariana isn’t labeling. she doesn’t have to label or prove anything to anyone. i’m just proud of her no matter what. i love you @ArianaGrande no matter who you give love to,” (sic) another wrote.

“Harry Styles and Ariana Grande both don’t feel the need to put a label on themselves and that makes me feel a whole lot more comfortable with not knowing who i am / what my label is.”

Another fan asked for people to stop asking the singer about her sexuality and tweeted: “why do people keep asking Ariana if she’s bi like who cares if she’s bi straight lesbian it doesn’t matter it’s not gunna change anything she’s still the beautiful talented, strong artist we know so leave her alone please”.
