Ariana Grande reveals Pete Davidson has blocked her on Instagram

The singer's ex is trying to distance himself

Ariana Grande has revealed that her ex-fiancé Pete Davidson has blocked her on Instagram.

After urging her fans to leave Pete alone following the comedian’s emotional post on social media, the singer has admitted that she hasn’t been able to see any of the hate directed at him because she’s been blocked.

In a private Twitter message with a fan, which was reposted online, Ariana said: “I haven’t seen any of [the bullying] because I’m blocked but I want you to know that I would never want or encourage that ever and you should know that. I care about him deeply.”

Meanwhile, an insider has told Us Weekly that the SNL star blocked his ex on social in order to “distance himself from her narrative” for the sake of his health.

In Pete’s emotional post to fans earlier this week, the comedian wrote: “I’m trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the entire world just trashes him without any facts or frame of reference.”

“No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won’t. I’m upset I even have to say this.”

After Pete’s post hit headlines, Ariana reposted his message on her own account, and said: “I know u already know this but I feel I need to remind my fans to please be gentler with others.”

The singer insisted that she “will always have irrevocable love” for Pete, and said anyone getting a different impression from her recent single, ‘Thank U, Next’, has entirely “missed the point.”

Ariana and Pete started dating back in May, and got engaged just a few weeks later.

Following a whirlwind summer romance, the couple announced their split in October.
