Ariana Grande has joked about giving her ex-boyfriend, Ricky Alvarez the “worst line” in her new single.
The 25-year-old released her latest track, ‘thank u, next’, over the weekend and mentioned each of her ex’s in the first verse.
The second ex-boyfriend that the singer mentioned was Ricky, who was a backup dancer for Ariana and dated her from 2015 to 2016.
It looks like the performers are still on great terms though, as Ricky took to Instagram to show fans that he was listening to his ex’s new single.
The dancer took a hilarious take on the emotional song, as he zoomed into his face in shock when Ariana sang: “Wrote some songs about Ricky. Now I listen and laugh”.
The 25-year-old shared her ex’s video and captioned it: “HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH IM SORRY U GOT THE WORST LINE. It was meant v lovingly”.
The hilarious video comes after Ariana revealed that Big Sean and Ricky both listened to the track before it was released.
