Ariana Grande is being sued for posting photos of herself on Instagram.
According to E! News, photographer Robert Barbera is suing the singer for copyright infringement after she posted photos he took of her on social media.
The photographer has claimed that the pop star didn’t have his “permission or consent to publish the photographs”.
The pictures, which were posted by Ariana on August 17 last year, show the singer carrying a perspex bag, which had ‘Sweetener’ written on it.
Sweetener is the name of Ariana’s fourth studio album, and she posted the photos to mark the day the album was released.
Ariana has since deleted the post, but according to court documents, the post was ‘liked’ by 3,392,035 accounts.
The photographer is now seeking damages of up to 25,000 US dollars for each picture.
