Anthony Bourdain’s toxicology reports released as his mother plans commemorative tattoo

Anthony Bourdain’s toxicology report has revealed that there were no narcotics in his system at the time of his death.

The much-loved chef died by suicide in France on the 8th of June.

He was found deceased in the bathroom of his hotel room in Kaysersberg, a small village in the Alsace region of France, where he had been filming for his award-winning CNN show, ‘Parts Unknown’.

The New York Times received a text message from Christian de Rocquigny, who is in charge of the investigation, that said there were no drugs in the chef’s system, save for the trace of a nonnarcotic medicine in a therapeutic dose.

He has since been cremated in Frace with his mother Gladys telling the New York Times, where she used to work as an editor that, “He would want as little fuss as possible.”

His mother never liked her 61-year-old son’s tattoos but has revealed since his passing that she wishes to get ‘Tony’ tattooed on her in his memory.
