Amber Portwood’s boyfriend Andrew Glennon has accused her of wielding a machete during the alleged altercation which led to her arrest last week.
The Teen Mom star was arrested on July 5, after Andrew accused her of assaulting him while he was holding their 1-year-old son, James.
The MTV star was charged with three felonies – including domestic battery, domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old, and criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon.
According to court documents obtained by E! News, Andrew has claimed that Amber struck a machete into a door while he was standing directly on the other side.
Prosecutors have also alleged that Amber “did knowingly touch” Andrew in a “rude, insolent or angry manner” in front of their young son, “knowing the child was present and might be able to see or hear the offense.”
Following her arrest, Amber appeared in court on Wednesday, and entered an automatic not-guilty plea.
A no contact order was issued against the reality star, and she’ll return to court at the end of the month.
Andrew has also filed papers seeking custody of their son, as he “believes it is in James’ best interests.”
