Amanda Bynes has posted on social media for the first time in just under a year, and fans are delighted to see her looking healthy and happy.

The former child star, who has suffered serious mental health issues in recent years, is reportedly hoping to re-launch her career this year.

Taking to Twitter, the 31-year-old posted a picture with friends while out for dinner in Los Angeles.

“Dinner with friends at Girasol,” she captioned the post.

The last time Amanda posted on social media was April 2017, when she shared a picture of her standing next to a large table of flowers.

RadarOnline has reported that Amanda is planning on making a comeback in 2018, and according to her lawyer, Amanda is currently considering several offers as she’s ‘doing really great’.

The actress has been keeping a low-profile in recent months, but last summer, Amanda did a rare interview where she updated fans on her life.

“I’ve been going to school lately, fashion school—FIDM. And I love it. I’ve learned how to sew, I’ve made patterns, and I want to start a clothing line in the future, so FIDM has been helping me with that,” she told Hollyscoop founder/The Lowdown host Diana Madison.

Amanda also revealed her hopes to start acting again, by saying, “I do miss acting and I actually have something surprising to tell you, I’m going to start acting again.”

“I want to do TV, maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I’m a fan of and maybe another TV show where I’m the star of it in the future.”

The What A Girl Wants star, who is reportedly being mentored by life coach Joy Stevens, regained control over her finances in June of last year, after her 2015 conservatorship came to an end.

Back in 2014, Amanda was involuntarily committed to a Pasadena psychiatric treatment facility following a very public meltdown, which stemmed back to 2012.

Amanda’s bizarre run-ins with the law include two hit-and-runs and a DUI in 2012, and a 2013 arrest for throwing a bong out the window of the 36th floor of her Manhattan apartment.
