Alicia Silverstone performed as her iconic character Cher Horowitz for the upcoming season of Lip Sync Battle.
The ‘Clueless’ actress took part in the fourth series of the hit show, and the trailer for the new season was released yesterday – and it shows Alicia wearing Cher’s famous yellow-plaid costume from the iconic film.
Alicia, 41, looked as if no time has passed in her iconic outfit, and fittingly performed Iggy Azelea and Charli XCX’s famous song ‘Fancy’.
Iggy famously donned the yellow plaid outfit for the song’s music video, and filmed the video in the same school as the film.
It has been 23 years since the film’s release, which has become a cult classic.
Speaking about the film to Variety magazine last year, Alicia said, “It changed my life. I’m proud of all the work on the screen, all the different artists who created [Clueless]. Super proud.”
Alicia has not reprised her role since the film, so there was no surprise when the audience went crazy as she stepped out in full costume for Lip Sync Battle.
The show’s presenter Chrissy Teigen was blown away by Alicia’s performance, screaming, “This is amazing”.
Chrissy posted a photo to her Instagram with Alicia and her daughter Luna back in October, when the show was taped.
She captioned the photo, “How am I supposed to sleep?I think I’ve asked for 2 photos in my entire life. Alicia Silverstone and Beyonce.”

The new series of ‘Lip Sync Battle’ will air later this month.
