Aaron Carter has insisted that he is not expecting his first child with his girlfriend, Lina Valentina, weeks after teasing he was going to be a father.
Just last month the singer sparked rumours that his girlfriend was pregnant, as he tweeted: “I’m going to be proposing soon to my gf and we might just be expecting…”
The 31-year-old has now backtracked on his statement and has insisted that the tweet was not an announcement.
“A few weeks ago, I posted something on social media about hoping to have a child soon and it seems that started some rumours,” Aaron has now told E! News.
“I am looking forward to becoming a dad, but am not expecting a child right now,” he continued.
The singer is currently preparing for his upcoming tour in the U.S. which will start at the end of January.
