3 Ways To Rock Pink Hair – Without The Hassle

Taking inspiration from the fabulous Vogue Williams, who debuted her new wonderfully pink hair-do yesterday, we wanna recreate her look.

While dying your hair pink, blue or any “unnatural” shade can be daunting – it doesn’t have to be, because there’s so many ways of achieving a colourful look without the dreaded commitment.

From hair chalk, spray and everything in between – we’ve found three products that will help you achieve perfectly pink hair, without the hassle.

Kevin Murphy Colour Bug – Pink

km

The Colour Bug by Kevin Murphy is a perfectly pigmented wipe on, wipe off colour for your tresses.

Named as one of the best hair chalk/shadows in the game, this product is designed to give your highlights or an ombre look in minutes – perfect for a fun festival look!

To apply, spray your hair with a setting product and massage the colour into the strands of hair you want to be pink. Then, shake out your hair to get rid of any excess product and you’re good to go.

We also recommend mixing the pink up with the gold Colour Bug, just because.

You can pick this up from Shampoo.ie for €18.00.

L’Oréal’s HAIRCHALK – Sweet Sixteen Pink

Next up is L’Oréal’s HAIRCHALK. Now the weird thing about this one is that it’s actually in a liquid formula, but it lasts for a few washes so it has more of a semi-permanent effect.

The great thing about them is that they’re HIGHLY pigmented, so they’ll even work on your dark-haired gals.

To achieve a powerful pink shade, go with the Sweet Sixteen shade, and make sure to apply it to damp hair before blow drying to make it last longer.

L’Oréal Professionnel Hairchalk retails at €18, and is available as a new in salon service and to take home from L’Oréal Professionnel salons.

Bumble and Bumble Spray Chalk – Blush Pink

Our favourite thing about this product is that it’s a SPRAY. This little baby couldn’t be easier to apply as you literally just spray on your tresses, and off you go.

Featuring a stunning quick-dry tint, this spray chalk is perfect for the festival season if you wanted to quickly add some colour to your look – but without all the hassle of messy chalk.

As well as washing out with just one shampoo, this spray couldn’t be easier to apply as you just shake the can well, mist through your hair, and that’s it!

You can pick this up for €20 from Boots.ie.
