Goss Lust List: The must-pack festival beauty products

This week on the Goss Lust List, I’m contemplating what exactly needs to be crammed into a festival beauty makeup bag.

Dancing in a field rocking the most out-there makeup of your life is a given, but skincare needs to get a look-in too, to avoid glitter induced spots, weather inflicted dryness and alcohol incited dullness.

Here are a few of my favourite, and the best reviewed, products that need to make it into your festival backpack:

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

Urban Decay changed the game when they first launched their All Nighter setting spray – and essential step to ensure that look you spent an hour painting on will last.

Festivals require your make up to last all day and all night, all while battling environmental elements your makeup wouldn’t usually be faced with, like glitter cheeks and rain showers, so a heavy spritz of setting spray is essential.

You can pick yours up HERE for €11.95.

Primark Biodegradable glitter

Regular glitters release microplastics into the environment at festivals, when they unnoticeably fall off our faces or spill out of their pots.

Glitter is a major part of a festival makeup look, and now that Penneys have launched a biodegradable range, you can don your sparkles safe in the knowledge that you are not harming the planet.

You can pick yours up for €2.50 in Penneys in a range of colours.

SoSu Eyelashes case

If you’re a fake eyelash fan, you know that they are difficult to maintain at the best of times, never mind at a festival.

If you plan on brining a selection to choose from, or hope to re-wear the same pair over the weekend, a portable eyelash protective case is a great addition to a festival makeup bag. You can also keep your lash glue in there so it never goes missing.

You can get yours HERE for €10.00.

Pure Skin Food Reusable cotton rounds

While makeup wipes would be the easier option, save your skin the trauma by opting for a water-based cleanser and reusable cotton pads that you can easily whip out in your tent and get that face clean, so you dont have to forego your skincare routine.

Reusable cotton pads dry quickly, and can be rinsed in the communal water station each morning.

Get yours HERE for €12.90.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Solution Sensitive Skin

To pair up with your reusable cotton rounds, a micellar water is the simplest path to a makeup free face.

Bioderma do their classic H20 Micellar in a 100ml bottle, that will fit perfectly into a makeup bag.

Nab yours HERE for €5.50 and keep it after the festival for holidays or mini breaks.

Yes To Cucumber Compostable makeup wipes

If you MUST opt for a makeup wipe, be sure to choose a biodegradable one for your three-day camping excursion.

Yes To Cucumber wipes are exceptionally refreshing thanks to their Aloe Vera, Organic Cucumber and antioxidant-rich Green Tea extracts.

Get yours HERE or from Holland & Barrett stores.

Inglot Ciaciaxo’s Colour Collective Palette

Inglot have just released a brand new palette for pre-order – and it couldn’t be more ideal for festivals.

Simply team this rainbow palette with a neutral palette and the potential makeup look combos are endless.

Pre-order yours HERE for €30.00.

Glossier Daily sunscreen SPF 30

Keeping your skin sun safe is essential at a festival, where most of us will be spending more time outdoors than usual.

The Glossier daily SPF instantly absorbs into skin with no greasy residue and no white hue.

It helps prevent sun damage and melts into the skin immediately, so you can add your festival makeup instantly. Get yours HERE.

Facial Spray With Aloe Herbs And Rosewater

Your skin will be getting dry and dull from the combo of poor sleep, alcohol consumption, and being away from your bathroom full of lotions and potions.

Invest in a facial spray, for a refreshing spritz between acts and to keep your skin plump and hydrated.
