Goss Lust List: The best influencer-created beauty products

This week on the Goss Lust List, I’m casting my eye over the expansive and ever-growing beauty sub-category of influencer-created beauty products

The influencer industry is of course a booming business, and reaching a coveted number of followers can work as a sturdy stepping stone to launching your own business.

In the US, the likes of James Charles and Kathleen lights launch products and product collabs on the regular, while in Ireland, there are new tan, makeup and beauty tools to try which have been formulated by our favourite Instagram stars.

Here are a few of my favourite, and the best reviewed, products from the biggest influencers at home and abroad:

Bare By Vogue Williams Self Tan Lotion

Bare By Vogue is one of the best-rated tanning brands on the market at the moment.

Everyone from tanning professionals to influencers to regular gals looking for a glow adore the golden base of Vogue’s deep but natural looking fake tan range.

The tan is available HERE for €25.00, or can be found in various Penneys stores.

SOSU by Suzanne Jackson Dripping Gold Luxury Tanning Lotion

Another tan that makes the list is Suzanne Jackson’s first foray into a faux glow, Dripping Gold.

The clue is in the name, as the tan gives a deep golden undertone while leaving a glamorous sheen on the skin – making it the perfect night out tan.

You can pick it up HERE for €21.95, or in various pharmacies and Penneys stores.

Carter Beauty Cosmetics Supreme Gel Liner

Marissa Carter is renowned for her stand-out tanning brand Cocoa Brown, but her latest venture, Carter Beauty Cosmetics, has a few must-have products of it’s very own.

One of which is the Supreme Gel Liner, one of Marissa’s own favourites. Earlier this year, Ariana Grande’s makeup artists even spoke up about his love for the product, revealing that he had used it on the singer for her Break Up With Your Girlfriend music video.

You can snap one up HERE or from various pharmacies for just €4.95.

James Charles  X Morphe Palette

While James Charles may have made more headlines for YouTube drama in recent weeks, his palette collab with Morphe remains one of the brand’s most popular products.

The multi-faceted palette features a rainbow of shades to paint your eyes creatively.

You can pick the palette up HERE for €43.00.

Luna by Lisa LipGloss Collection – Blush Edition

Lisa Jordan has made a name for herself in the beauty community thanks to her girly, whimsical beauty line Luna By Lisa.

The lipglosses are constantly praised by customers, and their light consistency makes them perfect for wear over lipstick or lip liner.

You can pick up a pack of four HERE for €30.00.

Miki Barlok

SOSU by Suzanne Jackson x Keilidh Cashell Urban Bible Palette

The Suzanne Jackson and Keilidh Cashell makeup cololaboration excited beauty lovers across the globe.

MUA Keilidh lent her hand to developing her own products withing Suzanne’s behemoth beauty brand, and the result of the women’s combined work left us with one of the most inspiring, playful and pigmented palettes on the market.

Get your own HERE for €34.75.

SOSU by Suzanne Jackson Gigi Premium Lashes

Fake eyelashes are an  essential part of any glam makeup look, and Suzanne Jackson has been slaying the game for years with her consistent new styles.

The Gigi lashes are a fan favourite, thanks to their fluttery winged style – and if you take care of them, you can certainly get more than a few wears from your €6.50 investment.

Pick them up HERE or at various pharmacies and Penneys stores.

bPerfect X Stacey Marie Carnival Palette

This stunning rainbow palette was designed with bPerfect by talented UK-based makeup artist Stacey Marie.

Known for her statement eye looks, this palette brings a gorgeous array of acid bright colours, melded with blendable neutrals.

The palette also includes two cheek shades. Snap yours up HERE for €44.00

Pippa for Blank Canvas Cosmetics

Possibly the OG Irish influencer makeup collab, Pippa O’Connor’s Pippa Palette for Blank Canvas Cosmetics was a raging success when it first launched almost five years ago.

Pippa O Connor took to Instagram last month to announce on her stories that she’s saying goodbye to the palette. It is still available to buy HERE, but only while stocks last.

If you’re looking for a simple, all-in-one palette for travelling or on the go, this is the one.

Listen to the latest episode of The Gosscast, where we have decided to switch things around – and interview our very own Goss Boss, Ali Ryan.

This week we celebrated 5 years in business, and to commemorate the achievement Goss.ie Editor Kendra Becker sat down with Ali to talk about everything from her childhood, to chasing her dreams, to the low points in business.
