Kian Egan has shared his support for his Westlife bandmate Nicky Byrne to represent Ireland in the Eurovision this year.
The Voice of Ireland judge thinks that the Eurovision gig will be great for Nicky and for our country.
“That’s a great thing for Nicky and a great thing for Ireland,” he told Neil Delamere on Today FM this morning.

“I think he’ll represent the country very well.
“He’s a great singer, a great performer, he’s obviously got tonnes of experience.”
The former King of the Jungle also predicted that if Nicky is successful in the European contest, he could bring the Eurovision back to Ireland.
“We might bring the Eurovision back to Ireland. Johnny Logan would wanna watch out, Nicky Byrne is hot on his heels,” he added.
