Designed by the infamous Philip Treacy, a renowned SPA a walk away from your bedroom and set in the heart of Galway…I knew I was going to love The G Hotel.
Every year I head to the culture capital for the Galway Film Fleadh, and while I normally end up sleeping on couches, sharing rooms or just winging it – this year I opted for some luxurious accommodation.
The G Hotel really is everything you would expect; fancy, welcoming, lavish and comfortable.
From our Welcome To The G Hotel sweet plate to the seriously relaxing thermal suite, here’s the things I loved about The G.
The plush bedroooms
Everyone loves a bit of luxury when they go away, and The G Hotel is the perfect place to feel like royalty.
Their extravagant designs around the halls and all the way to your bedroom makes the experience all the more fancy, and that’s what The G Hotel is all about.
We had two beds in our room, a massive bathroom, a huge cream couch and a large desk so I could get my work done in between lazing around in the splendour of our surroundings.
The Foyer
Keeping with the design of the place I couldn’t help staring at the architecture of the building as well as the interior styling.
The foyer is one of my favourite spots in the hotel, and how could it not be when it looks like this?
Relax with a cup of coffee, or like me – a glass of champagne, and you can chill out inside the warmth of the hotel as you watch the world go by outside.
The SPA
The SPAÂ is definitely one of my favourite parts of visiting hotels, and The G had everything I wanted.
Using all ESPA products (which I adore) guests can choose from luxury massages, pedicures and facials – basically everything you need to relax yourself from head to toe.

The thermal suite
Every thermal suite I’ve been to over the years has been so different and had it’s own quirkiness – but The G is just pure relaxation.
Not everyone will be mad about the fact that it’s so dark but that’s exactly what I wanted and needed during my time there.
When you book the thermal suite you are given a specific slot meaning the thermal suite is never over crowded.
From heated beds, therapy jets, rock sauna, a crystal steam room and lifestyle rain showers, you can truly take a break from the real world here.
