Top 10 Places To Eat During The Web Summit

Chapter One

chapter one

If you’ve got a bit of cash to splash then you need to book in to Chapter One.

Located in Dublin 1, the Michelin star restaurant is one of Ireland’s best restaurants with constant 5-star reviews from people all over the world.

Their four course dinner menu is from €70.00 but you can spend a lot more than that thanks to their amazing wine list.

Super Miss Sue

If you’re a fan of seafood then no better place than Super Miss Sue.

Located on Drury Street you can choose between Lobster, Prawn Cocktail, Roast Scallop and there’s some meat dishes too.

If you’re heading out for drinks, or you’re continuing your afternoon delight, then go for a carafe of prosecco (you won’t be sorry).

Tribeca

Since the Web Summit is taking place in Ballsbridge, you’ve no excuse not to try out Tribeca very close by in Ranelagh.

The eatery is renowned for their delicious chicken wings – and they live up to the hype we promise.

We also recommend the nachos there and honestly it’s worth going for the atmosphere alone – there’s a great buzz around Ranelagh.

San Lorenzos

San Lorenzos Coco pops

This is only for you guys who are staying around until the weekend, if so and you’re looking for a good brunch then look no further.

Here is where brunch dreams are made of – they’re specialised dishes include Coco Pops French Toast (yes, seriously), The Lobster Benedict (already drooling) and Brunch Cocktails (oh yeesssss).

Located on George’s Street you would be crazy to miss out on the the Brunch of Champions.

Rustic Stone

If you love steak then we definitely recommend Rustic Stone.

As well as a very cool atmosphere, your steak sizzles on a hot stone in the middle of the restaurant.

These guys are actually the official venue of the Night Summit this week – so no better place to meet up with people and get some business done (as well as stuffing your face).

And there’s always a chance you’ll bump into our very own Masterchef star Dylan McGrath who owns the venue.

Yamamori

yamamori

If you love sushi then you’ll love Yamamori.

There’s actually a few restaurants in town but we recommend the Yamamori Izakya on George’s Street.

They cook all the sushi dishes right in front of you and downstairs you can enjoy the Japanese drinking house.

Crackbird

Love chicken? Then Crackbird is the place to go.

Located on Dame Street (right by Dublin Castle), the dark surroundings make the experience all the more special.

We recommend any of the chicken dishes to be fair – and they have awesome beers too.

777

Another venue on George’s Street is Mexican heaven 777.

It’s super dark inside so it’s perfect for a low key meal of tacos and margaritas or even a date night if you’re lucky enough to hook up during your visit here.

We recommend the Toastados and they have a serious amount of tequila in there.

Salamanca

salamanca

This is my favourite place for Spanish tapas in Dublin.

Located on St Andrew Street, this place is a hidden gem but smack bang in the city centre.

They do a really good Early Bird menu for €16.95 and we recommend the Ricotta and Spinach Tortellini.

Johnnie Fox’s

Last but certainly not least, most tourists who visit Dublin make sure to head to Johnnie Fox’s pub.

It is a bit out of the way in the Wicklow mountains, but if you have the food it’s definitely worth your time.

I wouldn’t say the food is to die for but the views are, and you’ll really get to experience a traditional Irish eatery.

We recommend the Mussels – just because I’m obsessed really.
