Tommy Tiernan will be taking over the airwaves on RTE 2FM for the month of July to host The Tommy Tiernan Show Live.
Starting Saturday the 4th of July at 1pm the Galway native will interview two surprise guests on stage in the Sugar Club.
“One of the great things about the old Late Late Show was not knowing who the guests were until they appeared on screen, it kept the whole thing lively,” he said.
Radio: Tommy will be presenting on 2FM
“So I just thought well how would it be if the host didn’t know who they were until they walked out either.”
“Every time I thought about it, it just made me laugh so let’s see ! Doing it front of a live audience is the key for me, it all seems like good unpredictable fun.”
The radio show will also broadcast Ireland’s up and coming bands with the final show in the series taking place on Saturday 25th July in Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens in association with the Vodafone Comedy Festival.
