Success! Conor McGregor's RTE documentary set to air across the world

RTÉ 2’s hit documentary series The Notorious has been sold into seven new territories around the world including Australia, The Netherlands and Scandinavia.

The six-part documentary series chronicles Conor McGregor’s phenomenal rise as a UFC fighter over a period of six months.

SBS Australia, FOX SPORTS Australia, FOX Netherlands, BBC BRIT for Scandinavia, Poland and Africa, Qatar Airlines, Thai Airlines and Emirates and NRK Norway have all acquired the hit RTÉ2 series about MMA fighter Conor McGregor.

Bill Malone, Channel Controller RTÉ2 said its great to see the documentary getting the attention it deserves worldwide.

The news of the documentaries global success comes as the highly anticipated championship title fight between Conor McGregor and José Aldo is set for December 12 when they will finally have their long-awaited grudge match.

It comes after Conor was recently welcomed by legions of fans when he returned to Dublin.
