Comedian Sharon Horgan has admitted she was shy the first time she had to do a sex scene.
The Channel 4 actress, who appears alongside Rob Delaney in series two of her show Catastrophe, revealed she doesn’t think too much of her intimate scenes anymore.
“It’s so technical. I think the first time we did it I did feel a little shy, but now he’s lying on top of me naked and sweating…it’s not sex, it’s part of the job,” she said.

Although mum-of-two, the Meath native opened up the recent scene of her character giving birth – revealing it was “horrific”.
“It was kind of horrific. It does take you back to giving birth, which can be harrowing. And I did feel harrowed,” she told Heat magazine.
Speaking about undressing for the role, the 45-year-old revealed she gets self-conscious.
“There are definitely some scenes where I catch sight of myself and think ‘Jesus – I’ve aged five years since series one’,” she added.
