Irish actress Ruth Kearney is set for the big time with her new Netflix show Flaked.
The 27-year-old will star in the new comedy series, which is the latest addition to Netflix-exclusive programmes, alongside Arrested Development’s Will Arnett.
Flaked is set in the Venice part of Los Angeles, and will tell the story of Chip –Â a recovering addict who tries to rebuild his life as a furniture restorer.
Ruth will play a waitress called London who gets involved in a love triangle with Chip (Will Arnett).
The Dublin native, who is rumoured to be engaged to Divergent heartthrob Theo James, first broke onto the acting scene by playing Jess Park in ITV drama Primeval.
The actress, who attended St Andrew’s College in Dublin, also worked with Kevin Bacon last year on Fox series The Following.
All eight episodes of Flaked will be available on Netflix from Friday, March 11.
