Ray D’Arcy’s chat show has got off to a great start with 468,500 viewers tuning in to the first episode on Saturday night.
The debut show featured interviews with funnyman Tommy Tiernan and X Factor star Tulisa Contostavlos.
However, the TV star didn’t manage to beat rival Ryan Tubridy in the ratings with The Late Late Show drawing in an average of 514,000 viewers on Friday.

RTE have said they were “delighted” with the Ray’s figures.
“The reaction from the studio audience and from viewers at home has been really positive,” a spokeswoman said.
Sources have said it was a “good result” for the former Today FM star.
It comes after Ray recently admitted that it was strange seeing his name in lights again.
