He has become the latest sex symbol to come out of Ireland after Jamie Dornan – but Aidan Turner is completely oblivious to it all.
The Irish actor has been showing off his bod in the BBC Sunday drama series Poldark which has fans everywhere swooning over the Dublin native.
Hype has increased so much around The Hobbit star that fans have even termed love for the actor as Turner Fever.
“Is that a real thing?” he laughed after being asked had he ever heard of it.

“Oh dear. I don’t know anything about that. Sounds frightening though. I don’t do social media and stuff so maybe I’m slightly out of the loop to a degree.”
Aidan admitted that he doesn’t read much of the stuff that is written about him and isn’t too aware of what fans are saying online.
“People don’t tell me a lot of it either. My friends are under strict instructions not to tell me anything,” he revealed.
“I rarely hear of it, but I get a giggle when I do,” he told Hello Magazine.
