Pierce Brosnan has revealed that he thinks the next actor to play James Bond will be a white man.
Rumours have been swirling that British movie star Idris Elba could be the first black actor to take on the role of 007 after Daniel Craig calls it quits on the franchise.
However, Pierce isn’t so sure Idris will be the next Bond.

“Anything is possible for sure, but I think he’ll be male and I think he’ll be white,” he told the Press Association.
The Navan native pointed out that the character could be played a black actor at some point but will never be turned into a female character.
“A female James Bond, no – I think it has to be male, James Bond is a guy, he’s all male. His names is James, his name is James Bond,” he said.
